That with conscious, nourishing, even challenging practices we can inhabit our bodies with a vital sense of connection and relationship.
That we take our health and healing into our own hands as much as possible to stay mobile and independent for as long as possible.
How do we do this?
Wise Exercise: Practices that teach you to understand your own body and how you move, not just follow along with me.
Daily Movement: Different from Exercise. Learning to analyze your environment and assess your habits so you can make more nourishing choices about how you move in your everyday life.
Integrated Intuitive Bodywork: Receiving hands-on bodywork that allows your entire body to release and unfurl, while allowing your nervous system to wind down and rewire for safety.

Hi, I’m Katy. I’m here because I want all of us to live with more ease, strength, confidence and presence in our bodies.
Believe me, I know these are not easy things to feel in this culture. They require awareness and practice. Guidance often helps and community is essential.
We fall in and out of connection with our bodies as we move through life’s shifts and stages. And of course (if we're fortunate) we're also getting older, with all the changes that entails.
These changes and disconnections show up in many ways. We discover that our bodies just don’t do the things they used to do, in the same way, after birthing babies, having a desk job for a couple decades, injuries or surgeries.
That’s why the relationship we cultivate with our bodies is vital. Very few of us are going to feel amazing all the time. But there are ways to feel, move and understand ourselves better, and stay on a path of healing, strengthening and enjoyment - for the long haul.
I teach exercise classes and workshops that suit all bodies; offer customized small group and private sessions to approach the issues in your unique tissues; and provide hands-on body/energy work to support and deepen the work of connection and unwinding.

RYC® is a comprehensive and sustainable fitness program that helps women (primarily! but men benefit too) gain core strength, achieve ideal pelvic floor function and learn to move efficiently and optimally. It was created by Lauren Ohayon and has been a game-changer for women suffering from incontinence, prolapse, diastasis recti, low back pain and more.
I am a long-time certified RYC® and RYC® Method instructor. I offer classes, workshops and private sessions that guide folks on this journey. It is also an online program that you can follow in your own space, on your own time.
