What is RYC®?

RYC® is a core and pelvic floor healing program that takes a whole-body approach.

It was created by my teacher, Lauren Ohayon, after she saw many folks still struggling despite their best efforts with traditional approaches.

Restore Your Core® is a comprehensive, supportive exercise and awareness-building program, perfect if you experience any of these symptoms:

  • Back pain that persists despite treatment

  • Leaking when you laugh, cough or exercise

  • Discomfort or pain during sex

  • Feeling of heaviness or pressure in your pelvic area

  • Diastasis recti (separation in your abdominal muscles)

  • SI joint or Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD)

  • Disconnection from your core strength

How can I do RYC®?

RYC® is a 12-week online program with 4 progressive levels and tons of bonus lessons, led by Lauren Ohayon and other RYC® teachers. It is available to purchase (at a discount with my affiliate code!) and you can start it whenever you like.

There are 3 different tracks of the program:

1. RYC® Essentials: the signature program for you to do in a do-it-yourself, self-paced way.

2. RYC® Guided: everything in Essentials and much more. Delivered in a done-for-you progressive format with more variety and more ways to regress and scale.

3. RYC® Coached: fully personalized and tailored to your needs with 1-1 detailed recovery guidance from a certified coach.

I am a certified RYC® teacher and have been teaching (and re-certifying in!) this method for 8+ years.

I offer in-person classes and workshops in and around Portland, Yarmouth and Brunswick, Maine.

My schedule will show where I am currently offering them.

Following the online program or learning with an RYC® teacher can open up a world of interest, excitement and curiosity about your own body and your unique movement patterns.

It can also open up a world of questions and a desire to understand YOUR unique patterns.

This is where 1-1 guidance and a pair of trained eyes on your moving body are invaluable.

  • Some folks choose to follow the program on their own and schedule a session or two with me to ask all the questions and receive guidance on how to fit the exercises to their issues.

  • Some folks feel most supported by the 1-1 attention from the start and the targeted assignments and accountability I offer.

What you need to know about RYC® is that it's not a harder, faster, 6-week shred, work-off-that-slice-of-cake kind of experience.


Rather it’s training program full of strong, mindful, exploratory movement where you get to relish tons of ah-hah moments and then leave with a toolbox of skills you can take off the mat and into your daily life. 

Think... mat-based, yoga/Pilates style moves with lots of practical takeaways, customizations for your own body and a place to ask questions so you can get deeper into the whys & hows of what we’re doing.

I teach RYC® classes, workshops and 1-1 private sessions in Maine and online.
