My Background & Training

I began my movement journey with Middle Eastern Dance in my early 20s. I studied, taught and performed professionally around New England and discovered a new and amazing way of existing in my body. I then extended my teaching to dance fitness classes for women. And since then I have studied and trained extensively in numerous exercise and healing modalities. I am currently in graduate school earning an MA in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Expressive Arts.

My certifications include:

  • Thai Yoga Massage/Thai Bodywork

  • Restore Your Core®️

  • Restorative Exercise Specialist®️with the Nutritious Movement Institute

  • RYT200 yoga teacher

  • Pilates

  • Reiki I, II & III

  • My areas of interest and further study include foot strength and mobility, barefoot shoes, the foot to pelvic floor connection, nervous system regulation, self-myofascial release, chronic pain, approaching and understanding our selves and lives through myth and fairy tale, and reading and studying the Tarot (this one is actually an obsession).

My work today is a synthesis of these modalities alongside hundreds of hours of continuing education, personal exploration and work with clients.

What this means for you is that when we work together you get to experience delicious, nutritious “aha” moments in your muscles and movement patterns and also grow in wisdom and appreciation of your body - in a way that is totally unique to you.

I am here to help you get to know your body all over again.
And then, stay in that knowledge through every shift & stage in your life.

I want you to move and live in your body with wisdom and appreciation
so that you can do all the things you want and need to do in your life
with as much ease as possible,
for as long as possible.
